A glove box guide to your mobile air conditioning system

The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide has been posting on this blog for over 60 days and we’ve had some great comments and feedback. Our purpose is to educate the driving community on the most efficient and environmentally sound best practices for using their mobile A/C system. We are also hoping to dispel some of the misinformation out there on the internet. We’ve been running a daily Google alert on the topic car air conditioning and there is a lot of bad, inaccurate and frankly awful information out there.
If you would like to download our glove box guide to Your Car’s Air Conditioning System click here for a downloadable pdf that you can print out and keep with your car’s owner’s manual. This glove box guide has tips for keeping you cool, helping the environment and for optimum A/C system performance.
If you’d like to keep up with environmental news that could affect the mobile A/C system in your car click here.
MACS also has a consumer page with more detailed information about your car’s mobile A/C and engine cooling system, click here to visit.

When having your mobile A/C system professionally serviced, insist on proper repair procedures and quality replacement parts. Insist on recovery and recycling so that refrigerant can be reused and not released into the atmosphere.
