MACS Honored With Automotive Communications Awards


The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide has been honored with two Automotive Communications Awards for its technical newsletter MACS Service Report. The September 2009 issue of the MACS Service Report covering A/C performance in hybrid vehicles was the winner in the business-to-business technical magazine article category and was chosen best in show for the business-to-business communication category. The awards were presented during the Car Care Council Women’s Board reception, which took place Tues., Nov. 2, at the Sands Expo Center during the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX).
“MACS is proud to have been recognized with these awards for our mobile A/C technical content. Congratulations to MACS technical correspondent Paul Weissler for his excellent article on mobile A/C in hybrid vehicles. Paul is an exceptionally talented and experienced automotive writer and we are fortunate he has shared his talents with MACS members for over thirty years,” remarked Elvis Hoffpauir, MACS president and COO.
The Automotive Communications Awards are sponsored by the  Car Care Council Women’s Board and supported by the Automotive Communication Council. The awards applaud companies/agencies that provide automotive information through outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations efforts.
